Inter-Professional Test Preparation Program

The College of Arts and Sciences, in cooperation with the James W. Stuckert Career Center and Student and Academic Life, are happy to announce the creation of an Inter-Professional Test Preparation Program (IPTPP) for the MCAT, DAT and OAT. 

The size of the program will be limited to 50 students.

The program will be offered during the SP 20 semester, on Saturday mornings (in-person attendance is required), usually from 9AM-1PM.

In addition to the classroom work, participants will receive test prep books and several full-length online practice tests.

Who Can Apply:

Program eligibility is dependent on current enrollment, class standing, financial need, as well as cumulative and BCMP (biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics) GPA.  Applicants must also plan to apply to a health professions program and sit for their respective entrance exam summer 2020. 

Preference will be given to applicants who have completed the following courses:

  • BIO 148/155
  • BIO 152
  • CHE 105/111 or CHE 109/110/111
  • CHE 107/113
  • CHE 230/231
  • CHE 232/233
  • PHY 231/241 or PHY 211
  • PHY 232/242 or PHY 213
  • BCH 401G or CHE 550
  • PSY 100 (preferred, but not required)
  • SOC 101 (preferred, but not required)
  • SOC 255 (preferred, but not required)

Program Fee:

The 2020 program fee is $100.


For students who are selected to participate in the program, there is a mandatory orientation held prior to the start of the program, which will be held on Thursday, December 12 at 5:30PM.
