A Site for the Sciences
On Nov. 11, 1960, construction began on the Chemistry-Physics Building. The current site of the building once was occupied by the president’s garden and tennis courts.
The Department of Psychology is housed in Kastle Hall, a large, three-story building that is devoted entirely to the Department of Psychology. Kastle Hall is centrally located on the University of Kentucky campus; it is adjacent to buildings for physical and biological science, and a well-equipped computing center, and the main library is only 100 yards away.
