A&S Wired Students in partnership with the VIP Center, Department of Gender and Women's Studies, and College of Arts & Sciences gathered in Keeneland Hall and created bandanas to raise awareness and support of people experiencing exploitation in communities both near and far.
Peer mentors encourage freshmen in living learning communities to get active on campus, develop effective study habits, utilize on-campus resources and communicate with professors.
Incoming Freshman are encouraged to apply to live in UK's A&S Wired dormitory located in Keeneland Hall. A&S Wired features a technology-infused curriculum designed around the concept of a 21st century liberal arts education. Students take 2-3 of the same courses, including eight-week interdisciplinary Wired courses and a first-year writing course, as part of a shared academic program that promotes communal learning. Debuting this fall, A&S Wired, in Keeneland Hall, will house approximately 200 freshmen in a unique interactive space that combines education and residence life.
