The Bandana Project

A&S Wired Students in partnership with the VIP Center, Department of Gender and Women's Studies, and College of Arts & Sciences gathered in Keeneland Hall and created bandanas to raise awareness and support of people experiencing exploitation in communities both near and far.

VIP, Army ROTC Co-sponsor Run/Walk to Benefit Victims of Violence

Co-sponsored by the Violence Intervention and Prevention Center and UK Army ROTC, the Green Dot Fall Run/Walk aims to raise awareness for sexual assault and violence prevention.

Take Back the Night to End Violence

For more than 30 years, Take Back the Night has united campus and community members to recognize their collective power to end violence. This year’s event includes a march and rally featuring special speakers, live music, a candlelight vigil, a speak-out, tabling, free stuff and more.

Preventing Violence: The VIP Center with Melanie Matson and Ashley Hockney

The University of Kentucky's Violence Intervention and Prevention Center is located in the lower level of Frazee Hall. The Center's purpose is to prevent violence on our campus and in our communities.
